The Oracle WIP

Oracle and his follower, newest creation, all original except for the wheels!
I found the wheels online and ordered them to use. They are fantastic wood
wheels that come bare wood to paint or stain as you choose. There is lots
of wood, and copper soldering on this piece. Jane made the all the handmade books in the library behind him on the cart.

another view- showing the Follower that is pulling the cart.
He is free standing and has a combination of leather and fabric in his clothing.

Satin, leather, mohair all make up the Oracle's wardrobe

The library has lots of copper embellishments with soldered corners, a mica window is
framed in copper and soldered into the frame. Just have to finish his umbrella and a few other touch ups. He will be on display for the first Dreamers Markets in Parramatta 20th of July.

More Pixie Nix dolls

These are 3 of my most recent dolls. I am very pleased with their outcome. Polymer clay, fully wired, fabric and other mixed media things added. The dolls if standing are 11.5 inches tall excluding their hats. All available for sale contact me for prices if you are interested. We can ship all over the world and accept Pay Pal. Hope you enjoy. I will add another one here.

All eyes and skin tones are hand painted.
These two are clowns of a sort, I hand painted this fabric. The base in this one is also hand painted fabric. So much fun. I plan to use lots more of the painted fabrics this way!

Taliesin the Wizard!

Taliesin WON Best Original Doll at the Northern District Doll and Bear Show in Sydney, Australia

19th of November 2011

I have just completed a new doll and wanted to share here. I haven't had time to post here for some time. But felt it was time to warm up the Blog again with current works. Taliesin is about 18-20 inches tall. I sculpt the head, hands and feet out of Living Doll polymer clay. He is completely wired so can be posed. Many elements embellish Taliesin, silk, rabbit fur, leather, metal and glass. Mohair for his hair and beard. I am very pleased with how he has come along. I am hoping to get into a few more dolls this size in the near future.

Have been busy producing a few new dolls for our Show stall for sale. Thought you all might like to see some pictures of them. These are with Living Doll Sculpy clay. It is fantastic to work with. Love it. All of these dolls are between 6-8 inches tall. I am having fun exploring Steampunk so you will see a couple of these!
