Penrith Doll, Bear and Craft Show

What a great show we had! Fantastic venue, access, stall size was exceptional! Promoters were great! Parking for vendors and customers huge and accessible. Penrith is a must visit must must show! If you can, be sure you come next year! We will for sure be there. We had one of our best ever shows for sales. Thank you Penrith! The doll here to the right, sold on the first day! He won Best original doll at the Northern Districts Doll and Bear show last year. He will take up his new home in Bendigo, Victoria. A fantastic doll. We have enjoyed him and happy he has a new home. We sold other smaller dolls as well as many other of our creations over the 2 day show.

Next weekend we will be at the Wyong Doll and Bear Show. SO if you missed this one we can catch up next weekend with you!! Hope to see you there. new Dolls!

Have been busy producing a few new dolls for our Show stall for sale. Thought you all might like to see some pictures of them. These are with Living Doll Sculpy clay. It is fantastic to work with. Love it. All of these dolls are between 6-8 inches tall. I am having fun exploring Steampunk so you will see a couple of these!

Newcastle Charity Doll Show

Hi, well we have been very busy and slack at adding things to the blog. But this last weekend was exciting and worth a mention. We had a stall at the Newcastle Charity Doll and Bear Show. I also entered some dolls in the competition and won Best Original doll for "Blue Skies Forever 2". I was thrilled! We also had good sales in our stall. Wilma Simmons joined us for the day and brought bead work, dolls, vintage bits and pieces, felting and many other wonderful items to enhance our stall. We had a great day chatting up a storm about all the great projects and plans we have. Sharing ideas and working out problems together. Newcastle Chairty Doll Show

Early in September 2008 we attended the Newcastle Charity Doll Show. We took all our wares and set up a stall of dolls, handmade cards and craft tools that we have for sale. I also entered several of my dolls in the doll competition. I was luckly and won a First Place trophy for Penny who is pictured here in the blog. She is one of the pair Poppy & Penny dolls I made from my own original doll pattern. This pattern has been very successful and I have taught it in classes a couple of times from our studio. If your interested in the pattern let me know I can send you one. They are $15 each. The show and sale was a big success for us and many others as well. Inspite of the very rainy weather there was a really good turn out of customers.
